The Treefort Music Festival is gearing up for 2015 by announcing their first wave of artist that will travel from across the country to the Treasure Valley.
TV on The Radio will be headlining the festival and hails from New York. The band last performed in Boise in 2009 and just released their 5th studio album called Seeds.
Some other big name indie acts include Los Angeles, California pop group YACHT, and Duluth, Minnesota string band Trampled by Turtles.
Traveling from Australia, Twerps, which recently signed to international Merge Records, will perform in the City Of Trees
Acts from Portland, Seattle, Quebec, Utah, Colorado and other locations will ensure that this year's Treefort will be as diverse as ever.
In addition, the organizers are celebrating after being awarded the 2015 Cultural Ambassador by the City of Boise and Mayor David Bieter which included a $25,000 gift.
