Harvest Music Festival set to begin on Mulberry Mountain - 4029tv

When you think of a music festival at Mulberry Mountain, Wakarusa may pop in your head, but the Harvest Music Festival couldn't be more different. The festival returns for its 9th year to the Ozarks.

There are 100 bands on four stages here for the weekend playing everything from bluegrass to reggae music. This weekend is expected to draw 8,000 music lovers from all around the country to the Ozarks. Music will begin today at noon and continue right through 2 a.m.

This festival is more spacious than Wakarusa and is designed for the entire family. There will be event for the kids like instrument making and face painting. Brett Mosman, festival director, says the weekend is a family event.

'Harvest Festival is a little more laid back and a little more casual. You see a lot of strollers and wagons. It's a lot of families, some empty-nesters, there's a little more space to roam around' says Mosman.

Weekend and single day passes are still available online or you can come and buy a ticket at the festival.
