12-hour music festival planned to honor Ray Etheridge - WHAS 11.com (subscription)

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A 12-hour music festival is planned for this weekend to honor the life of a 12-year-old boy murdered in Cherokee Park. Ray Etheridge was stabbed to death last week. Police arrested a homeless man, Joseph Cambron, and charged him with the crime after he contacted authorities.

Local musicians will perform this Sunday at the Monkey Wrench in the Highlands for 12 hours to honor Ray's 12 years of life. It all begins at noon.

Ray was also homeless and organizers say all the proceeds raised will help support his family.
