A troubled traveling music festival is headed for Brooklyn.

The Mad Decent Block Party, a day-long dance fest, is set to hit Coney Island on Saturday - one week after two revelers died of apparent drug overdoses and 20 others were hospitalized during a tour stop in Maryland.

'What happened in Maryland was a tragedy,' City Councilman Mark Treyger (D-Coney Island) told the Daily News. 'What are the lessons learned?'

Tyler Fox Viscardi, 20, of Raleigh, N.C., and a 17-year-old from Woodbridge, Va. identified by InsideNova.com as Daniel Anders, seemed to have suffered drug overdoses, officials said.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what the two, who apparently didn't know each other, may have taken.

Cops wrote 50 citations for underage drinking during the day and made arrests for assault on a police officer, domestic assault and marijuana possession.

Maryland cops blamed the popular psychoactive party drug Molly for much of the chaos last Friday at Merriweather Post Pavilion, outside of Baltimore.

Treyger hopes beefed-up police presence and increased private security in Coney Island will decrease drug use when the roving concert rolls into MCU Park this weekend.

He also wants the city to flag future events, so community stakeholders can make plans to alleviate safety and traffic concerns ahead of time.

This Saturday's Mad Decent festival was quietly booked last year and caught many in Coney Island off guard, the pol said.

'My hope is there is no repeat of what happened,' Treyger said, 'that this will be an orderly event with no tragedies to read about the next day in the newspaper.'

Organizers of a similar dance music festival, the Electric Zoo, also promised to step up safety measures after two concertgoers overdosed on Molly and died in 2013.

Electric Zoo is slated to return to Randall's Island Aug. 29 through Aug. 31.

Mad Decent officials they were 'shocked and saddened' by Friday's deadly concert.

'Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this,' the company said in a statement. 'To the extent that we can do anything to prevent a tragedy like this from happening again, we will do so.'
