PRIOR LAKE, Minn. - The outdoor concert season continues this weekend with the 5 th Annual Lakefront Music Festival in Prior Lake.
Country music star, Trace Adkins and The Under the Sun Tour (including Blues Traveler, Smash Mouth, Uncle Kracker and Sugar Ray) will headline the 2014 Prior Lake Rotary's Lakefront Music Fest. The two-day festival is at Lakefront Park on Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19.
The Under the Sun Tour will kick off the festival on Friday and Trace Adkins, Maggie Rose and Lo Cash Cowboys will take the stage Saturday.
'We're excited for another amazing lineup to help us celebrate 5 years of the festival,' said Mary Erickson, Lakefront Music Fest Event co-chair. 'The entertainment continues to make this a very successful event that supports local non-profits and also our international efforts.'
The event was created by the Prior Lake Rotary Club and includes the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) and Mystic Lake Casino Hotel as Exclusive Presenting Partners, contributing $50,000 in each of the 5 years of the festival. The Rotary will share profits from the festival with the following non-profits: YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, and Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools' Laker Athletic Booster Club (LABC) and Patrons of the Arts and Activities (PAA).
Tickets for the event are $20 in advance for both days and are available at http://ift.tt/1oDIuus. Tickets are available at the gate for $20 per night. Children 15 and under are free.
